AT last the crisis between the executive and legislative
members of Bichi local government council which has paralysed activities in
the area has been finally resolved.
Alhaji Ahmad Muhammed Panda who is also the Director
Personnel management (DPM), of the local government has dropped the hint in
an interview Daily Triumph recently in the area, statting hat an agreement
was reached on the passible ways to live in peace with each other.
He explained that all the impeached leaders of the
council have now being returned to their former positions, reitering that
these is now harinonious relationships between the two, arms.
It could be recalled that for the last two weeks crisis
rocked the council which led to the impeachment of its legislature and
majority leaders, Honorable Yahaya Ya'u Tinki and Bashir Ibrahim Bichi an
allegations of incompetently and sycophantic attitude.
The council members accused the two leaders of conniving
with the council chairman, Alhaji Lawan Shehu and the DPM, Alhaji Ahmed
Muhammed Panda of denying them their legitimate constitutional right or
access to the all other engagement carried out by the council.
In a reaction Alhaji Panda countered that the councilors
were not denied access to their constitutional obligation adding that the
crisis was just the will of-God and was now over.
Meanwhile the council DPM had enumerated some
achievements recorded in project execution which include the renovation of
Islamiyya schools, drainages, electrification, road construction, health
care delivery, educational assistance among others. He said the projects
were spread across village and ward levels.
He commended the staff and the people of the local
government for the support and understanding to the council and solicits for
the continuous cooperation to achieve the desired objectives.
