Enugu Stands Still for MTN Y'ello Fest Top Nigerian musicians and some upcoming young artistes had the opportunity to set the Eastern Nigerian City, Enugu agog with powerful rendition of good music in an atmostphere of absolute entertainment and fun which spread all the way to the live viewing centres in Abuja and Lagos, via satelite, facilitated by MTN. The big moment finally arrived, at the weekend, for the big concert experience.The MTN Y'ello Fest in Enugu lived up to the billing by giving its mumerous fans a taste of excellent Nigerian music of international standard. The vivid stagecraft that captured the Coal City, was mounted at the presidential Hotel Gardens.The fireworks and cometlike starlight could be seen for kilometres across the skyline of the city. Y'ello Fest has proved again to be an extravaganza of local artises, live bands and folk dance. The artistes line-up included Sunny Neji, Tuface Idibia, African China, Styl Plus and Sasha, the female rapstar, who only recently won the Kora, West African Regional best artiste award. Upcoming artistes like Biso and Enugu based Nnena justified their inclusion in the train, which has re-affirmed the consistency of MTN's support for discovering budding talents and promoting the growth of the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
