SSAUSCGOC Elects New Exco in NICON By Nnamdi Duru Senior Staff Association of Utilities, Statutory Corporations and Government Companies (SSAUSCGOC), the umbrella body of senior workers in government owned companies now has new officers in Nicon Insurance Corporation (NICON). The General Secretary of the association, Comrade Chubby Nwagbara in a letter to the Managing Director of the corporation, Ms. Prisca Soares introduced the newly elected officers to the organisation. The twelve man executive committee according to Nwagbara is to be Presided over by Comrade Y. A. Odoma while Comrade N. Ntukere was elected Secretary and Comrade Lazarus Oaya was elected Treasurer. Also elected on the same platform were Comrades Rotimi Olanrewaju (Deputy President), S. A. Sanni and A. M. Shadare (1st and 2nd Vice President) respectively, L. E. Amaechi (Assistant Secretary) and E. M. Egwu (Internal Auditor). The rest were Comrades C. S. Nwana (Public Relations Officer), A. A. Anjah, A. M. Jibril and K. W. Adamu (1st, 2nd and 3rd Trustees) respectively. The General Secretary told the management of the insurance firm that the officers would serve for a period of three years ending September 2007 and solicited for the cooperation of the management on behalf of the executive committee.
