Petrol Price Hits N120 Per Litre in Yenagoa Effective compliance by filling stations to NLC's four-day strike order has forced petrol price to a record high of N120 per litre in Bayelsa. Reports indicate that in Yenagoa, the state capital, petrol sold for N120 per litre in the black market yesterday, while a 20-litre jerry can costs N2,400. The warning strike, which entered its last day yesterday, also witnessed the continued closure of banks, business outfits, state secretariat and ministries operating outside the premises of secretariat. Bayelsa's Government House, ''Creek Haven'', was not left out, as only a few key officers went to work. Operators of restaurants and fast food centres, bus drivers and motorcycle operators complained that business had been dull since the strike started.
