Idris Moves to Curb Water Shortage From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Governor Ibahim Idris of Kogi State has directed the state Ministry of Water Resources to immediately install eight water treatment plants in Idah, to cushion the effect of water shortage in the area. Idris gave the directive while on inspection tour of the rehabilitation work being carried out by the Ministry at Idah water reservoir. He instructed Commissioner of Water Resources, Mr James Olumorin, to invite four water contracting firms, for a fresh job, adding that the people of the area are seriously in need of water. he remarked that his administration would continue to ensure good water supply, adding that he would equally ensure water supply in Idah town. He, commended the people of Idah community for their support for his administration and pledged to do his best by ensuring that every community in the state reap the joy of democracy.
