FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 , 2004           KNSG commended for welfare programmes By AHMAD ABUBAKAR KANO state government�s resolve to cater for the well-being of the common man has been commended. In a chat with Daily Triumph the secretary of Kurna self-help group in Dala local government area, Alhaji Ado Maikusa said the newly introduced programme on training the youth on various crafts and trades was appreciable. According to him the importance attached to human development needs not to be over-emphasized as such governor�s derive to reduce unemployment among the youth is a positive step to move the state forward. He therefore called on all and sundry to offer prayers for the administration of Malam Ibrahim shekarau to scale through in taking the state to an enviable position. Maikusa used the opportunity to appeal to the governor to direct for the clearing of refuse in settlements like Kurna, Gobirawa, Tudun Bojuwa, Bachirawa, Rijiyar Lemo.
