MTN Unveils 'What's Beautiful' Commercials

The conspicuously displayed question 'What's Beautiful?' with MTN Y'ello colour across the country, was Thursday night in Lagos, answered with the unveiling of a new brand communication. This was in form of new commercials which are expected take over the airwaves and a major point of discussion in the country for a long time to come.
At a colourful ceremony at the Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos MTN promised to continue to blaze the trail in the nation's world of communications by giving more meaning and bridging the gap in communication among the people and the world at large.
Speaking at the occasion, the company's Marketing and Strategy Officer, Mr. Afam Edozie, said 'What's Beautiful?' is life itself and that sharing it with others via MTN widely covered GSM link up, makes life most meaningful." This, he said, was what the new brand commercials were about to achieve as they were fashioned out to stimulate communication among loved ones, families, friends and business associates across the country and the world.
He stressed the importance and beauty of life and the need to live and share one's life with others, pointing out that the objective of MTN was to bridge the communication gap by linking people up both locally and internationally, irrespective of distance and other barriers.
He said because of the importance MTN attaches on human beings and their welfare, products and services are fashioned out to meet the needs and aspirations of diversed people in differentplaces across the country and the world.
He said MTN, in its policy of giving back to the public what it has being getting, is now involved in social welfare programmes and sponsorship of sporting events in and outside the country for public enjoyment.
These, he said, were in the areas of sponsoring the African Nations' and CAF Cups competitions, EUFA Cup and Golf competitions in the country, saying arrangements have been concluded with the appropriate authorities to this effect.
Other areas, he added, include education, healthcare and economic empowerment as well as some other community development projects across the country.
All these, he said, were embedded in the new powerful communication package aimed at making life more meaningful, beautiful and enjoyable for people, pointing out that this is synonymous with MTN in its effort toward an improved and better services that is all-embracing and second to none.
