Community to Honour Nnamani By Olabisi Lawal Association of Mbanabo Communities (AMC), Lagos has unveiled plans to honour the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani, and a number of other distinguished sons and daughters of the area with an "Award of Honour for Excellent Service." The award, which would be conferred on them tomorrow at the Hotel Presidential, Independence Layout, Enugu, was in appreciation of the numerous achievements of the governor and the immense contributions of Mbanabo indigenes to the growth and development of the area. In a statement by the President of the association, Mr. Cele Okafor, and the Secretary General, Mr. Ben Obasi, "the Association of Mbanabo Communities (AMC) Lagos, in furthering to the actualisation of the dreams of our founding fathers has deemed it fit to recognise and honour some renowned achievers and persons of high integrity, known and respected in their various spheres of human endeavour in Mbanabo and who have contributed immensely towards human and infrastructural development in our area."
