A chieftain of the party, Lt. General. Jerry Useni (Rtd), told Saturday Champion in an exclusive chat that the governors of Zamfara, Kebbi and Sokoto states are tearing the party apart because of their alleged anti-party activities. "Zamfara and Kebbi governors are accusing Bafawara of Sokoto State of being pro-IBB, whereas they are Pro-Atiku and may have been visiting Ota in Ogun State". On the crisis in Plateau State Gen. Useni posited that the return of Gov. Joshua Dariye may not be immediate, against the speculation in some quarters. According to him, when President Olusegun Obsanjo declared a state of emergency in the state, he anchored the coming back of Dariye to the return of the peace to the region, a situation which he said, is yet to hold.
