Saturday, October 23 2004 Vol 17 No.30 News Events Cover Issues Politics Foreign News The Art Ladies & Gentlemen Saturday Sports Panache Weekend Circuit Weekend Business Special Snap Shot Interview FRSC boss to chair road safety seminar The FRSC boss and Core Marshal, Major General Halidu Hananiya, is expected to preside over this year�s 2004 Road Safety Workshop and Seminar titled "Driving and Riding with Safety, The Okada and GSM Menace in View". The event is being sponsored and organized by the Special Marshals, Federal Road Safety Commission, Zone 2.1 Lagos State sector command. The 2004 workshop and seminar, will take place on Wednesday, 27th October 2004, at 9.00 a.m prompt, at the reception hall of the Archbishop Vinning Memorial Cathedral Church, opposite Police College, Oba Akinjobi Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. The FRSC boss and the core marshal, Major General Halidu Hananiya, is expected to have on his entourage, the national coordinator of the organisation, Revd Father Emmanuel Otiba, as well as the director, special marshals department, Commander Dick Pere, all from the Abuja headquarters of the Commission. Meanwhile, Zonal Commander Onche and the Lagos Sector Commander, Mr Ayobami Omiyale, are also expected to play very prominent roles on the occasion.
