'Council Election Free, Fair' Jigawa From Bala Nasir in Dutse Chief of Staff in the Jigawa State Government House, Alhaji Aminu Ringim, has said nine parties, exchanching Peoples Demo-cratic Party (PDP), contested the councils election, which he described as free and fair. Ringim said this in response to Alhaji Bello Muhammed, PDP vice chairman, North-West zone's condemnation of the exercise. "None of the parties that contested complained of irregularities", Ringim said, adding that the PDP cannot complain of any irregularity since it did not participate in the election. "We have seen how PDP tried to stall the election, but God has prevented that and the election held where our great party swept all positions." " This, he said, is to show that, ANPP is still stronger in the state and can win yet another elections if with a very wide margin.
