Contractor Assures on 1000 Housing Units in Taraba From Takuruku Promise in Jalingo Finance Investment and Trade Consultants (FIT Consult), the outfit supervising the on-going construction of 1000 Housing units in Taraba State, says that the housing project would be completed in keeping with the contractual specifications. Conducting our reporter round the first phase of the project at mile-six in Jalingo yesterday, the Project Officer, Engr. Kizzito Aiagolu has said that the 1 st phase of the project whose work is in progress with the building of 519 house have reach various stage of completion. He said that the building which is well concretized and mixed with polystyrene to achieve light weight and it has good heat conductivity and strong structure will enjoy guarantee of 50 years. The project officer explained that the project which was being founded by All States Trust Bank is monitored by the quality control unit to ensure quality of job done. Commenting on the part an of the structures introduced which is entirely strange in the town, he said that the structures would be built with pure concrete with electrical panel will produce heat conductivity and it will eliminate staff holding compare to block work. Engr. Aniagolu hinted that the housing project which will be completed before the end of next year would have 40 units of duplex and 40 units of Boys quarters allocated to commissioner quarters in Jalingo. He expressed that the road network are fully prepared but was being interrupted by rainfall. He however, assumed that the job will be neatly done in tune with all its specifications.
