This was contained in a communiquéé issued at the end of the  6th HIV/AIDS Project review meeting between the National and State Project teams held at the Women Development Centre,  Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital. The communiquéé was signed by Dr. Augustine Okesola. Project Manager, Oyo State Project team, Salihu Kindo,  communication specialist, FCT, Maimunatu Abubakar, Kaduna, Sylvia Nzurumike Anambra and Yusuf Pammancha, Plateau.  They said that the National Project Team (NPT) should ensure that the numbers of the NGOs that are eventually given grants  are equally and evenly distributed in the states. “That the NPT should provide states with the list of NGOs that are benefitting from the national level for effective monitoring and  evaluation by SACA” they said. The communiquéé also stressed the need for continuous advocacy by the NPT at the federal ministry of finance and that fund  should be released to the ministry of health for procurement of ARVS. They also called for State Project Teams (SPT) members  to be trained on project management especially in individual specialties. They also requested that special allowance of $500.00 and $1000.00 to be given to SPT members and also  National/International Conferences, Seminars and workshops for SPT Members.
