security in the country will not be effective.

receiving the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 1, Sir, K. Z.
Dudari who paid him a courtesy call in his office yesterday.
The police force deserves the best of welfare

we can expect an armed man who is hungry, wretched and uncared for to take
care of the security of the citizenry, the governor lamented.

circumstances under which the police operate in the country, praying that
the Nigeria Police Force would be blessed by leaders who see beyond their
norse at all levels.
He then unveiled his government plan to assist
Kano police command with some undisclosed items which according to him,
would help boost their morale in carrying out their duties.
The governor congratulated the AIG on his well
deserved award as one of the most outstanding police officers in Nigeria.
Earlier, the Assistant Inspector General of
Police (AIG) in charge of the zone which comprises Kano, Katsina and Jigawa
states, Sir, K. Z. Dudari, had told the governor that he was at the
Government House as part of inspection tour of the states under his
jurisdiction.
AIG Dudari explained that the tour was part of
his zonal operation to study their accomplishment and constraint so as to
identify areas where they could seek assistance from the state or the
federal government.
He said that his zonal command is aware of the
assistance and support being rendered to the police by Kano state
government, while pledging their loyalty to the state and federal
governments.
