Britain and Nigerian troops in Darfur
SIR: I was interested to read the lead story in your September 13 edition about the costs of Nigerian troop deployment to Darfur. It may interest your readers that Nigeria's friends are willing when asked: The British Government paid for the Hercules� aviation fuel to fly the Nigerian forces to Darfur. We also chartered the transport plane, which flew the contingent's armoured personnel carriers to join the troop.
