Group Tasks Police on Murder Case lagos By Sheriff Balogun A group, Congress of Igbo Agenda(CIA), has called on the police to commence investigation into circumstances surrounding the death of one Cosmos Iwuji, allegedly killed by members of Oro cult. Speaking at the home of the deceased the group's President, Reverend Innocent Peace, said there was need for the state Criminal Investi-gation Department (CID), Panti, to investigate the remote and immediate cause of Iwuji's death by the alleged cult group. Peace urged government to ensure that perpetrators of the act are brought to book. According to him, the police should launch investigation to unravel the mystery surrounding the killing, and the suspect(s) arrested. Mother of late Cosmos, Mrs Mary Iwuji, lamented the manner in which her son was killed. "My daughter-in-law just put to bed and elder son, Ikechukwu, sent for Cosmos who is popularly called "Omo Jesu"to come around to assist him. "Cosmos first of all went to the hospital to see his sister-in-law and went back to Ikechukwu's house. That was the last discussion I had with my son. I had gone to my little farm on that very day to pluck some pumpkin leaves for sale later in the day," she said.
