Justice Odili, 5 Others Elevated to Appeal Court From Lillian Okenwa in Abuja President Olusegun Obas-anjo has approved the appointment of Rivers State First Lady, Justice Mary Peter Odili, and five other High Court Justices to be elevated to the Appeal Court. A statement signed by Alhaji Danlami Senchi, Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court said Obasanjo gave the approval based on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC) and Senate's confirmation. Besides Mrs. Odili other Justices to be sworn in on Wednesday September 22, at the Supreme Court complex, Abuja are; Justices M. L Garba, Chief Judge of Zamfara state, Jean Omokri, High Court of Kebbi State, Delta State, Justice Abdullahi Tijjani, High Court of Jigawa State, Jigawa State, Justice Uwani Musa Abba Aji, High Court of Yobe State, and Justice M.O Kekere-Ekun, High Court of Lagos State.
