MoneyWise newsletter out
AFRESH window of opportunity to learn investment tips has opened for readers of MoneyWise column anchored by Mr. Ayo Arowolo in Financial Standard.
Media Partners, Publishers of MoneyWise handbook series has debuted with a weekly newsletter to cater for the needs of such readers.
Since November 2002 when it was first introduced, MoneyWise has drawn a large followership while many fascinating testimonies have also trailed the column by its perspective readers who have benefited from the insights, tips and nuggets shared in the column by the author and his friends.
In a statement by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Olufemi Awoyemi at the weekend, Media Partners also announced that the newsletter, which has also gone online (www.moneywise-ng.com) as the first phase of its unique offering would feature reputable and seasoned columnist such as Rev. Sam Adeyemi, author of Parable of Dollars and former columnist with Financial Standard, Owen O' Malley, founder of The Investment Club Network, Tunji Awonusi, co-founder of TICN Nigeria, Derek Little, top Irish Investment trainer, Richard Dayo Johnson, a millionaire motivational speaker based in London amongst many other notable Nigerian entrepreneurs and professionals.
Until last Friday MoneyWise was a column in Financial Standard but was pulled out and Arowolo, Chairman, editorial board of the newspaper has resigned his appointment.
Until December last year, Arowolo was the founding managing editor and Chief Executive Officer of Financial Standard. He disengaged to be able to take on the job of pioneering investment clubs in the country through The Investment Club Network, an Irish company with operations in 14 countries. In less than six months, TICN Nigeria was given award in Ireland as the best TICN franchise operations in 12 countries. This month's edition of the newsletter tells more about the FS years and the challenge of berthing a vision with Nigerians.
While at Financial Standard, Arowolo, working with a team of dedicated journalists turned it into the most innovative business newspaper in the country.
He conceived and introduced popular sections in the paper such as FS Study Right, FS Money and FS Property as well as winning multiple awards.
