Guinness Begins Road Shows for New Bottle

According to Mr. Ekunife Ekoli, marketing director for Guinness N igeria Plc., the tour which takes Guinness experience of unequalled enjoyment with best in entertainment to about eight cities across Nigeria will start on Friday September runs till November, 2004. "This means Nigerians and our loyal consumers will be treated to every weekend of best of Nigerian music back to back", he said.
The last BlackGold concert went from Lagos to Port Harcourt and Abuja to celebrate the experience of a life and the wind of change that is still blowing in the beverage sector of Nigeria economy.
The launch of Guinness Stout new and unique bottle has been adjudged as one of the biggest in terms of conception and execution in recent time in Nigeria. The series of launch events put together redefined brand communication with consumers. "We are indeed happy with the feed back we are getting from them since the introduction of the new bottle", Eknife expressed.
The celebration will be a road show to Asaba, Benin, Enugu and Aba among others to make consumers feel the excitement and great taste of Guinness in the new bottle. "It is going to be as grandeur and big as we had in BlackGold concerts in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja and people should just see it as another BlackGold concert without Wyclef Jean. The show will assemble the best of musicians in each of the cities to entertain our consumers", he stated.

The marketing director thanked thanked Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria and members of the press for supporting Guinness on the campaign .
He promised that the company will digest most of the comments and observation of its various publics in continuing "to do everything to get better in our future entertainment events".
