The Josiah Ebhomenye led Research International Marketing Trends has been honoured with the Gold Medal of the Foundation for Excellence in Business Practice (FEBP) for 2004. By this feat, Research International Marketing Trends is Nigeria's first participant and recipient of the award in the marketing communications sector.
The Switzerland based Non Governmental Organisation was created by a group of entrepreneurs, consultants and academics whose professional life continually brings them face to face with the issue of what excellence means in business, striving to create a clearer understanding internationally and to recognise and reward companies and organisation setting examples of excellence.
Excellence in business practice by FEBP definition includes: transparency and accuracy in financial reporting; adoption of international standards for financial reporting; the governance of corporations; protection of the rights of minority and outside shareholders; and the role of corporations in society in general.
The Foundation is led by Dr Bernard Ivaldi a specialist in International Bi-lingual education, and recipient of a doctoral fellowship in Bi-lingual Education at N.Y.U. He has served as Director General of the International School of Geneva and of the Geneva Campus of Webster University. He is also involved in entrepreneurial activities, especially in the fields of education and health. He was the Founding President of INSAM. He is currently serving on the Governing Board of The International Schools Association an NGO with consultative status with Unesco.

The outfit operates within the strict regulations of l.C.C./ESOMAR International Code of Marketing and Social Research.
