UBA Expands Branch Network The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc will soon add eight new branches and cash offices to its existing network. According to a realease by the bank, this will add up the bank's branch network to 258 nationwide, in addition to two off shore branches New York and Grand Cayman Island. The new branch include; Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure , Oil Mill Road, Port Harcourt , Iweka Road, Onitsha ,Computer Village, Ikeja and Ikota Shopping Complex, VGC, Ajah, Victoria Island, Lagos. While the Cash offices are located at Federal Government Secretariat, Uyo , Federal Government Secretariat, Benin and Petroleum Pricing Monitoring Committee (PPMC) Enene, Enugu. The opening of these branches and cash offices is part of the Bank's strategy of taking quality banking services to its numerous customers nationwide, by locating branches as close to them as possible, so that people in the area can take full advantage of the Bank's various products and services. It is remarkable to note that to date, a total number of 183 branches of the bank nationwide are already running on Flexcube, a banking solution programme that enables customers to transact their businesses on-line without hitch and in a faster and convenient way.
