AGIP Denies Giving Helicopters to Security Agencies Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) has denied media reports linking it with provision of supporting helicopters to security agencies in the Niger Delta. A statement by the company's General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr Akin Aruwajoye said, "the company has neither received any request nor has it provided any helicopter for the use of any security agency in the Niger Delta or any other parts of Nigeria, for that matter." He added that all NAOC's helicopters "are licensed for civil use and are deployed exclusively for the business of oil and gas exploration and production."
