We resolved unanimously to constitute ourselves as a vehicle for the attainment of full reconciliation in our party in accordance with our party constitution."
The Yobe State governor added that "a meeting of the relevant organs of the party would shortly be summoned at which all issues in dispute would be addressed. In the mean time, all parties to the crisis are advised to restrain themselves from any further public statement on this development.

Also, speaking shortly after the governors' briefing, National Chairman of the party, Etiebet said "we support the position of the governors. We thank them for their intervention.
Thank you for your concern. Mind you, we are not expected to talk to the press or grant any press interview on this matter. So it shall be."
