Anambra Chief Judge to Know Fate Tomorrow From Charles Onyekamuo in Awka Anambra State Chief judge, Justice Chuka Jideofor Okoli, would tomorrow know whether his defence to a suit, alleging age falsification levelled against him early this year, satisfied the Justice F.C. Nwizu-led High Court II in Awka. The matter, which was earlier filed by Barr. Onyechi Araka at the Onitsha High Court, was later withdrawn to allegedly enable the National Judicial Council (NJC) wade into the matter. Justice Okoli had last Friday been docked at the state High Court II Awka presided over by Hon. Justice F.C. Nwizu sequel to the refiling of the alleged age falsification by Barr. G.C. Igbokwe. The crisis later degenerated into a 3-month strike embarked upon by judicial workers in the state early this year. They called for the removal of the Chief Judge over alleged age falsification, saying they found from his official file that he was supposed to have retired on June 15, 2002 when he was deemed to have attained the statutory retirement age of 65.
