Kolade Commends Vmobile at London Summit
Lagos
By Idowu Sowunmi

Nigerian High Commi-ssioner to Britain, Dr. Christopher Kolade, has commended the management of Vmobile for the good work it has done in the past few months to reposition the company in the nation's telecommunications industry.

In a statement by the company's Public Relations Manager, Mr. Emeka Oparah, Kolade commended the company while visiting Vmobile's stand at the just-concluded 3rd International Nigerian Telecommunications Summit held at Carlton Towers, Knightsbridge, London and praised management's effort in putting together a new and vibrant image for the company.

He said the colour of Vmobile brand contained power and strength, saying "more power and strength to Vmobile."

Kolade, who was the first to sign the Visitors' Book and picked up an exclusive branded Business Card Holder, opened the floor for other visitors to Vmobile stand, which was unarguably the most visible and most exciting at the summit.

In his presentation entitled "Initiatives to Enhance Operator Performance and Incentives to Improve Quality of Service for Consumers," Vmobile's Chief Information Services Officer, Mr. John Ayoh, identified world-class customer service, superior coverage and quality and passion for customers as the key drivers of the relationship between telecommunications consumers and service operators.

He pointed out that Vmobile's numerous product and service innovations were company's various incentives to make GSM experience a delightful experience in Nigeria.

The chief information services officer informed the summit that the company has embarked on several expansion projects, which were expected to significantly boost Vmobile's capacity to connect more subscribers, offered better quality service and gave the company a larger share of the country's telecommunications market.
