Ojukwu Urged to Honour SSS Invitation From Jare Ilelaboye in Katsina Former Presidential candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegu-Ojukwu has been advised to report himself to the authority of State Security Services (SSS) in Abuja in the interest of peace, law and order in the country. Speaking to newsmen in Katsina, the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) Advisory Committee member, Alhaji Hassan Mashi said Ojukwu's inability to honour the SSS invitation amounted to breaking of the law since nobody was above the law. Mashi pointed out that for Ojukwu to pursue the Biafran cause after being pardoned Alhaji Shehu Shagari's government in the Second Republic amounted to treason. According to him, Biafra as a nation lost out during the civil war. "For Ojukwu to support or proclaim anything to do with Biafra should be regard as a man who lost his bearing as an elder state man saying that Ojukwu has no place to hide himself since he was the leader of Biafra at that time", he added. He said there was no justification whatsoever for the South-east for the resuscitation of the sovereign state of adding that with the present situation in the country. Ojukwu with his support for Biafra was putting Ndigbo's position in the scheme of things at test. The ANPP leader warned that Ojukwu should stop any more that may pitch him against the Federal Government.
