Love came to me to rob me
Took everything from me
I was in deep love
I am still in deep love
There was and is no one else
The continent has separated us
As it did when people were
stolen long ago
from their homes
and brought to a distant land
To ache also for their
stolen love
The thief is insuffient funds
I wore myself out
in this struggle
As he himself did also
I could not get to him nor he to me
Prophecy is being fulfilled fast
and time is a factor
not enough time
to embrace my true love
for it is oceans apart
Faith where did you go
For just yesterday I was
singing a most heart renduring
song about love
That even love broke down and cried
this day has brought
Something different
Something called robbery
Why does the ache of love have
to be painful
And expressed on cyber paper & ink
only to file itself somewhere in cyberspace
among cyber emotions
No one will ever know it is me
for whom this poem is written
I will pretend
and lock my heart
No one will ever know, but You God
Even I will never know
Why is the store house of my Father
not open for me
You the reader
thinking thoughts judging
yet not knowing who I am
or what my life was like
or what caused me to go in this or that
direction
I do not have the time now
For time yes time is running out
I will say I have loved but once
But never felt it's warmth
or it's kisses
or it's whispers
All that was stolen
So when you finish reading
this sorrowful want of my heart
pray for me for I could be you
if not now
then perhaps tomorrow
so judge me carefully
for love is delicate

Cheer up pale maiden
Life is full of simple pleasure
Until you fall in love that is
You describe me in your song
You talk about a past I lived
Until I weaned myself
and ACCEPTED that my shadow ain't me
I am alone but yet unique
Seperated yet complete
My mind is made up
I'd rather go out and live
If possible love happens, so be it
a mirage I'll not chase
No not anymore
Who wants love that's impossible?
Certainly not me
the old lady maturity is having a laugh
"you can't love what you know not
You are gripped by a shadow
To cuddle the air is lunacy
The cyber is a crazy place
Believe not what they say they are
Only trust what you know well"

Hi & Yes I do understand it was written for
someone who is going through some hard times & I wrote it this morning for them & I know them very
well & the relationship is based on a time right before the Biafra War. The ones involved are friends of the family for many years.
In their youth they both were friends. & the friendship extended to the children. I have a better one. I will find it and post it 4 you
The question is which one.

The previous poem is dedicated to James & Stephanie.

Is this like poetry

On the one hand women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy.... So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Share this with other women who are good apples, even those who have already been picked!

And on the other hand... Men are like a fine wine. They start out as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

No it doesn't seem quite like poetry
somehow . But I have another one [Smile]

Poetry of man & woman

Element Name: WOMAN
Symbol: Wo
Atomic Weight: Don't even go there!!
Physical Properties: Generally round in form. Boils at nothing
and may freeze at any time.
Melts whenever treated properly.
Very bitter if not used well.
Chemical Properties: Very active. Highly unstable.
Possesses strong affinity to gold, silver, platinum,
and precious stones. Violent when left alone.
Able to absorb great amounts of exotic food.
Turns slightly green when placed next to a better specimen.
Usage: Highly ornamental. An extremely good catalyst for dispersion of wealth.
Probably the most powerful income reducing agent known.
Caution: Highly explosive in inexperienced hands.

Element Name: MAN
Symbol: Xy
Atomic Weight: 180 +/- 50
Physical Properties: Fairly dense and sometimes flaky.
Difficult to find pure sample.
Chemical Properties: Attempts to bond with Wo any chance it can get
. Also tends to form strong bonds with itself.
Becomes explosive when mixed with Kd (element: child) for prolonged period of time.
Neutralize by saturating with alcohol.
Usage: None known. Possibly good methane source.
Good samples are able to produce large quantities on command.
Caution: In the absence of Wo, this element rapidly decomposes and begins to smell.

I originally posted a poem here I call "Lovers and Troubles" but decided it was infringement, so I posted it on its own thread. Sorry 'bout that.
