WAITING FOR TODAY

For here shall I stand
Against the wildest of wind
Perched on a steep cliff to bond

As I am today
Just like yesterday
Starry-eyed with hope ahoy

Surging towards beconing horison
Perhaps waiting for tomorow too soon

Shall tomorow ever comes
Resurgent with the wind of changes

To chaff my guant ears of corn
Wake me rejuvenated at dawn

With a commendable urge
And a pat on my strained shoulders

To stake my claim of double yokes
Before the afternoon
