I am writing my thesis about Highlife trumpet playing and I am interested in the lyrics of Olaiyas composition "Trumpet Highlife". Could anyone translate it for me in English. I would reaaly appreciate it, thanks a lot!!!

Why don't you try Eddy Okonta's classical compositions which is easier to translate than the lyrics of Victor Olaiya. Besides, Okonta was named the OBI OF TRUMPET, meaning the King of Trumpet.

Thanks, there are many compositions which would be easier to transcribe, especially those in english ;-)) But I think that maybe the lyrics are of interest for my thesis because of the title, maybe Olaiya speaks about the importance or the general role of the trumpet.
