Trust me, it's not one of Bill Cosby's middleclass bullcrap. It's worse than that, and you better believe it.
Yeah! The Academy is here again, and Hollywood will never cease to amaze me.
Well, the cats and bastards in Hollywood refused to honor Martin Scorsese, the most renowned director of his era when he pushed "Gangs Of New York" to the edge, and knowing Hollywood, he was double-crossed even though his star glittered on the Walk Of Fame.
Remember "Casino," "Bring Out The Dead," "My Voyage To Italy," "Good Fellas," "Raging Bull," and "Taxi Driver"? Could this be Scorsese's year? We'll see!
I probably would go for the Best Picture nominee "Ray." Jamie Foxx scored two nominations, as Best Actor for "Ray" and Supporting Actor as a cabbie in "Collateral." Go Jamie Go!
For Supporting Actress, another sista emerges. Sophie Okonedo as innkeeper Rusesbagina's wife in "Hotel Rwanda." What happened to my big brother Don Cheadle? Hollywood, here you go again!
"The Aviator" has 11 nominations including best picture. Imagine!
Chris Rock will host the Oscars live February 27 from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre where Highland meets Hollywood. And you bet, TB will be there.

Eventually, Hollywood and the Academy does the right thing, giving honor to whom honor is due. I wasn't sure who was gonna take the best actor award between Don Cheadle and Jamie Foxx, but I was confident both were the best choices considering the controversy surrounding the Oscar managers and its selection of winners for the past several years.
Jamie Foxx takes it to the bank in a post-humous event remembering Ray Charles.

The Oscars is just around the corner and the gist now is that the gay-related Brokeback Mountain has every score to steal the show. I think that's just another Hollywood hogwash.
