Religion teaches that God, the Creator is omnipotent (almighty), omniscient (all-knowing) and omnipresent (present in all places at all times).

Let us look at the almighty power of the Creator.

If God is almighty, can He then create a stone which is so heavy that He Himself cannot lift it up?

If we answer yes, then God has created the stone - but He can't lift it up, which doesn't make Him almighty. If we answer no, then have we found something which God cannot do?

I would like to hear your replies ojn this.

Thanks.

AfroEuro:

Welcome to BNW. The question you ask is interesting. But, one curiously wonders if your question is also a hypothetical one, since it presupposes that 'God' exists. I assume that that which does not exist could not possibly be "Almighty." As you may know, there have been debates on this board over the question of 'God' and his/her existence, with very able members taking opposite sides on the question.
