Today, a US rover named "Spirit" is expected to touch down on the surface of Mars. Spirit is the first of two rovers due to land on Mars after a six-month journey from Earth.
Ostensibly, NASA is sending the rovers to Mars to "seek evidence that Mars might once have been capable of supporting life." An affirmative finding that Mars once supported life will in turn boost the project for a manned landing on Mars. One thing is certan. Mars will be a fascinating area of scientific inquiry, and I will be observing with rapt attention.

Dr, We are better than them, because we know how to kill and kidnap opponents. We know how to suffer and smile. We are immune to suffering ,We are asking for just a dry bread once per day ,but they have enough to eat and make experiment.
In all the westerners are the trouble that is wrecking us in BiafraNigeria ,The support our politicains to loot our economy and bring it to them ,then they can use the money to travel to Mars and where ever.

In about 24-hours, the Sprit Rove will be on the move, and we are going to start getting pictures of a different kind. In the meantime, here are the pictures from the first week of the Rover's Mars residence.

Finally, the Spirit rover resumed communicating with ground controllers early this morning, sending back data for 10 minutes. There is hope that normal operations might resume.

At least the second rover "Opportunity" is doing better than the Spirit rover. Let's see what happens after thirteen days.
