Hello,

my name is Alex Fuggenheimer from Germany and i recentely heard of many strongman contest in Nigeria. I am very interested in what has happened in these contests. I came upon this in a link from last year:

The Olympia Open Air Gym located along Anthony village will hug the limelight this November when strong men gather for the first Lagos Open Strongest Man competition.

The event manager, Christopher Columbus said yesterday that the event will come up on 13th and 14th of November and expressed his readiness to stage a hitch free competition, which is the first of its kind in the recent times.

According to him, competitors are drawn from all over the country including the federal capital, Abuja, while the major highlight is the appearance of Usawa Sunday a.k.a 'Bullet Red Scorpion', the reigning strongest man in Nigeria and the defending champion of the last DSTV sponsored competition is looking forward to defend is title.

Can anyone of you tell me about what happened? Who is Bullet Red Scorpion? What were the events at the strongman contest? How big are the men(in kg)? Has IFSA came to the continent? has there been anymore contest this year? Who is the strongest man of Nigeria? Please answer. Thankyou for reading this and i hope all is well.
