Former Political Adviser to the late General Sani Abacha and National Chairman of the Peoples Salvation Party (PSP), Alhaji Wada Nas has again warned Vice-President Atiku Abubakar to beware of President Olusegun Obasanjo, saying Atiku stands the risk of losing his home state to the All BiafraNigeria Peoples Party (ANPP). Nas also said neither the Vice-President nor the former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida will succeed President Olusegun Obasanjo because he (Obasanjo) has concluded plans to give the presidency to one of the governors from the South-South. On the presumed presidential bid of Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, the PSP National Chairman said it would be unthinkable for President Olusegun Obasanjo to hand over to any of the two personalities if the presidents antecedents are anything to go by. According to him, "these two personalities (Atiku and Babangida) should opt out of the PDP," adding: "If this is not done, they will be disgraced out of the party. "They should start thinking of their political future elsewhere as their future is unclear. The cloud there (PDP) is not clear for them." (Sun) |
