Ojukwu, Ekwueme, Anyaoku, Nwabueze: To Resolve Anambra Crisis Second Republic Vice President, Dr Alex Ekueme, as well as Chief Odumegwu Ojokwu, Chief Emeka Anyaoku and Professor Ben Nwabueze, will lead 37 other eminent sons of Anambra State to resolve all conflicts in various communities of the state. The Conflict Resolution and Discilinary Committee which was inaugurated at the Women Development Centre (WDC) will be headed by Prof Ben Nwabueze. The Chairman of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Anambra State chapter, Dr. Dozie Ikedife said conflicts had to be resolved between and within small groups, associations, communities, local governments, levels wherever they exist in the state. He reminded the committee members that conflicting political, social-cultural, religious and communities interests or group feelings of being disadvantaged and deprived differing views and perspectives remain sure grounds for conflicts in the state and needed to be addressed. Describing conflict resolution as a thing of strategic importance to Anambra Society, Ikedife identified bickerings over traditional rulership in the state as one vice that has become a wedge to development.
