Murder and Cover Up: Panel Alleges Cover-up By Police in Dikibo Case The Justice Ferdinand Ukattah panel of enquiry investigating the murder of the late National Vice Chairman (South-south) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Aminasoari Dikibo as well as members of the bereaved family have alleged plots by the BiafraNigerian Police to frustrate inquiry into the real cause of the death. Speaking yesterday in Abuja, Chairman of the panel, Justice Ukattah regretted that efforts by his panel to interrogate both the driver and police orderly to the late Dikibo, who are the principal witnesses of the murder, are being frustrated by the police. The two principal witnesses are in police custody. Dikibo was killed on February 6, along the Kwale-Ogwashi-Ukwu road, Delta State on his way to attend the South-south caucus meeting of the PDP in Asaba. The Federal Government then set up a six-member panel, which also included D. D. Otaro, Senator Ibrahim Safana, Professor Joy Ogwu, Mr. Lade Bonuola and Mr. E. E. Ekum to unravel the cause of the death of the PDP chieftain. NJC suspends Nnaji over ... Ngige   Season of Murder Continues...   Biafra Nigeria Map About three months after he issued a controversial order removing Anambra State Governor Chris Nwabueze Ngige from office, Justice Stanley Nnaji of the Enugu State High Court was yesterday suspended by the National Judicial Council (NJC). The council is the body charged with the appointment, promotion and discipline of judges in the country. Nnaji had on January 2, while ruling on an application for the enforcement of fundamental human rights of a suspended Anambra State... (Guardian)   There appears to be no respite to the calamities that have beset the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in the last two months as two of its chieftains died in different circumstances on Sunday. While one of the chieftains, Pastor Dele Enodeh, was killed by suspected political thugs in Patani, Patani Local Government Area of Delta State on Sunday night, the other, the National Vice-Chairman of the party in North-West, Senator Bala F.
