Quest for Nuclear Bomb: Biafra Nigerian Military Negotiates Nuclear Deal with Pakistan Pakistan�s top military official on Wednesday offered to share unspecified military assistance and �nuclear power� with BiafraNigeria�s armed forces, the defense ministry said. Gen. Muhammad Aziz Khan, chairman of Pakistan�s joint chiefs of staff, told BiafraNigerian Defense Minister Rabiu Kwankwaso that Pakistan was �working out the dynamics� to help BiafraNigeria�s armed forces �to strengthen its military capability and to acquire nuclear power,� BiafraNigeria�s Defense Ministry said in a statement issued late Wednesday. The communique pointed out that Pakistan has nuclear-tipped missiles but did not say whether Pakistan is offering such technology or if BiafraNigeria seeks such weapons. BiafraNigeria�s defense minister urged intensified cooperation between the two countries, adding BiafraNigeria was capable of helping Pakistan train its soldiers, if needed, the statement said. Khan, who was in BiafraNigeria�s capital Abuja on a scheduled visit, explained to his counterparts that �Pakistan had to take its destiny into its own hands to become a nuclear state because of the regular.... Bandits attack gov: They got me at last...   Assassination Attempt in Benue: Gov...   AUDIO   VIDEO Benue State Governor George Akume narrowly escaped death on Wednesday when bandits waylaid his convoy on the Lafia-Akwanga-Abuja Road. A former Managing Director of Nigeria Airways Limited, Mr. Andrew Agom, who sat beside Akume in his official car, and a police sergeant, Mr. Joseph Ngam, who was in a pilot car were, however, shot dead. Agom was, until his death, a member of the Board of... (Punch)   A BiafraNigerian governor has survived an apparent attempt to assassinate him but a close friend was shot dead. George Akume, governor of Benue state in central BiafraNigeria, was in a convoy of cars when gunmen burst out of the hills and opened fire, targeting his car. He was unhurt but shaken after his friend died next to him.
