Sunday at 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM Eastern time will determine who gets the Sup ticket. My pick may shock you but it is based on statistics and performance. For the Bears to win, Rex and the defense must play their guts out. The Saints are too talented and too spirited to lose this game.
The Colts with Manning have a lot to prove against the Patriots, otherwise the highest paid player in the league is finished and will end up like the former Dolphins quarterback with broken records and no ring. Here is my prediction.
SAINTS OVER BEARS[VERY LOW SCORE]
COLTS OVER PATRIOTS [VERY LOW SCORE]

Say it like it is; the spirit of the New Orleans just ran out in Soldier field. Easy street is empty and no one is dancing or flashing their breast to the world. The Bears manhandled the Saints to advance to the Super Bowl Game, America's biggest name brand sport. Adewola Agunleye,a Nigerian/Yoruba born was spectacular.
The Colts made the biggest come back in Play off history, down 21 to 3 at the half, never gave up hope, played with guts to win over the come back kid, Tom Brady and his Patriots. The monkey is no longer in Manning's back. Joseph Adai, African born was equally gutsy; he played the game of his life.
The Super Bowl will picture history of two African American coaches, gentlemen and best friends will square it out. Come what may, Lovie Smith and Tony Dungie will make another history as the first African American coach to win the Super Bowl since the history of the NFL; played by 75 percent of African Americans.
On another note, the Steelers have hired an African American, the youngest coach in the history of the game. Stay tune for my prediction for the Sup.

The two games were the best but the biggest comeback in playoff history still belong to Buffallo Bills 1993 against the then Houston Oilers. It was 31 3 Houston at half but some how, Oilers lost that game and soon lost sponsors and fans in Houston.
I like Colts to win it all.
Did you guys with FOX Soccer net watch the Arsenal Man City game yesterday? Classic Henry finish. Instant classic game

Well looking at the odds you will say the Colts will be the Cahmpions come superbowl. The odd makers have them +7 which is a substantial preference over the bears.
Recent history of the superbowl does favor AFC which is being represented by the Colts. But I'm concerned that AFC domination will come to and end sooner or later. The question is will it be this SuperBowl?
Reading this everyone might be saying NwaBiafra is picking Colts to win the SuperBowl.. not so fast folks I'm will make my picks later.
So stay tuned

The Super Bowl ticket is not for an average American but the rich, the famous and the well to do. Middle class American could not afford it. The ticket is selling for the following rates.
UPPER DECK: $3,500
LOWER DECK: 10,000
LUXURY DECK: $555,354.00
Stay tuned for my prediction next week Saturday or before then.

The end is near and everybody including "HER" picks the Colts to win, only few thinks the Bears will win the Sup and they might be slightly right. But anything can happen in the Super Bowl, I mean anything. Lets not be assured that the Colts will win this game; it will not be easy. Remember, Manning performed poorly during the season compared to 2005 and Rex Grossman, despite all the critic holds his team the best record in the league. But this is Super Bowl, record does not matter now.
For the Colts to win the Sup, Manning must control the ball and avoid the blitz from Chicago defense and minimize INT. The Bears defense will definitely take him to hell. He would be harrassed by the Bear defense, chased around the whole field in the first half and excel in the second half. His biggest problem would be trying to break the Super Bowl records and that could cost him. Manning must not rely on throwing the ball and if he does, must use his tight end more than the receivers. He must also use Joseph Adai because his receivers will be manned and Bears Corners are quick hawks. The Colts will be forced to run the ball because Manning would be grounded in the first half.
The Bears have the best defensive team in the league. Great defensive team have won the Super Bowl but with good offense. The Bears quarterback has attracted much criticism about his strenght to throw the ball, he stays in the pocket too long and cannot run the ball; their secondary is also questionable, they are young and inexperience. Rex Grossman best offense is he never give up and that is not enough. The Bears best hope is their defense, they have the best record in the league but this the SUPER BOWL, BABY
The Bears have great defense, Colts have good defense and great offense. I pick the Colts. This is my prediction. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN.

You all can keep hating, but Miami is going to be bear country and the Colts are going down.
Go do your thing Lovie, we believe.

For 36 years former Baltimore Colts now Indianapolis Colts finally won a Sup. They did it with the best gentleman coach in the league. Tony Dungy, after a winning season was fired by the Buccaneer and immediately hired by the struggling Colts, he won two seasons for the team but never a Sup; unlike his predecessors, never yelled, screamed, cursed out or humiliated his players to win a championship; he approached the game with the Christian perspective, treat your players with dignity. He is a role model to all incoming coaches. To those of you who love the game, compare Mike Dikta, the Tuna, the Patriots coach and 95 percent of the NFL coaches to Tony Dungy and his former Assistant, Lovi Smith, you will notice an unclass and composed coaches.
The Colts won last night as a team, Manning was not entirely awesome because of the rain but made spectacular plays, the win was fueled by a running game. The Colts had 20 first downs as opposed to only 6 downs by the Bears. The Bears were grossed out by Rex Grossman, the failed to capitalize on the first touch down by the special team.
The Sup was American Histrionics; the first African American coach to win the Sup, the third person to win the Sup, both as a player and a coach, the first confessed Christian to win the Sup, the second coach to play against his former Assistant coach, Lovi Smith.
The half time entertainment was far more better than the aged old Rollingstones,aliens/British musicians who know nothing about football to Prince and the Revolution. That was the best half time performace since Janet Jackson flashed her saggy tits to the world.

Sorry guys, I have been out of the pocket for more than a week, as a result, I have not been able to write about the March Madness.
March Madness is all about College Basketball, probably the most organized college Playoff series in team sport; Davids meets the Golliaths. This is the only month college basketball is popuplar , ceremonial and all that matters and after the champinship, the game is gone.
The game is ready set go, fast and fury; the busiest month in cable television. It does get better;the series mnakes your week days and afternoon active and entertainting. This is conference championships. Who will be invited based on performace and who will not? Watch the game and see for yourself.

Here comes the Fab Four. Who do you think will win it all and become the NCAA Champ. Most of the major universities did not make it to the first round or sweet sixteen, Duke and company failed. Two universities reappeared to the elite squad or revived themselves after several years of rebuilding---Georgetown university and UCLA are back in the basketball map.
Now here is the match up, pick your win if youre a sport's fan or basketball fan. This is a tough one but....

Just as predicted, Ohio state and Florida came out victorious. The game is ready/set-go-Monday and who will emerge the the NCAA National Basketball Championship? Will it be Ohio state with a fast pace and a 7 footer or Florida state been there before and no what it means to win the game; with great team work and patience. This will be a dog fight and who controls the ball and at the end, Ohio state 7 footer will be in foul trouble and Florida over Ohio state.

Florida did it again, history in the NCAA sports. The first to win NCCA football and Basketball Championships. They wacked Ohio State last night with extreme prejudice. Ohio strugulled in the paint and three point, Gators were too aggressive; fast and fury, used their experience to nip Ohio State to the bud. But I predict one thing, the Gators will not repeat again, all five starters will not return next year. Watch out for Ohio state and GeorgeTown in 2008. Go Gators!

This guy does not fit the typical profile of an American football player, dumb, aggressive; ultra big with only 8 percent body fat. But he is not only a football player, he was an honor roll student with two majors. He graduated from college at age 19. He is Amaobi Okoye .
Call him smart, intelligent, young and the next big thing in NFL history...Amaobi Okoye, born in Nigeria, where he played soccer came to the United States with his family; an acada student at the University of Louiville at age 19 and at 6'2 has made history as the youngest NFL draft was 10th round pick by the Houston Oilers. How about that for the history books. I don't know about you, I will be watching.
By the way, Brady Quinn of Notre Dame was passed by Miami Dolphins at 9th pick and he is still waiting in the Green Room at 10th, 11th, 12th and still waiting.

I guess because they have never won a game or they are not that popular overshadowed by the Dallas Cowboys. I reckon they will do well this season with the young guns. But my bad for the error. When it comes to sports, Nigerians are usually lay back and no politiking. Give credit where it is due, the Eaglets and the Nigerian coach have done a wonderful job for Nigeria. I witnessed their game against Argentina, they were awesome, despite being so skinny. The coach has done a good job. It is a good thing under 20 and 17 are Nigerian born coaches and an awful bad thing that the Green Eagles are coached by Aliens compounded by egotistical Nigerian players abroad. The success of the Eaglets is an evidence that Nigeria must learn to empower their own people, good or bad rather than shopping to resolve their goddam problem with Alien countries. Technology cannot come from the Aliens but within.
It would have been all African Games for the final but Ghana could not capitalize on their superior talent against Spain. Ghana last night were more superior players than Spain but their passing game was poor. They controlled the game. But their passing game was terrible and times confusing; they concentrated much of their energy on the left side and none on the center forward. The last goal showed their were in disarray when they failed to mark a Spaniard on a free kick, thinking the ball would come through the air. Ghana lost because of their passing game and they failed to finish up.
Give it up for Nigerian Eaglets.

Well disciplined, well played and well behaved. The Eaglets scored all the penalty kicks and the Spanish Team missed all to win the FIFA World Champoinship U17. Akiboye was awasome. The penalty kicks by Eaglets were clinical.
Well done Eaglets for winning the U17 FIFA World Championship. You have won 4 championships out of 8 appearances. You're probably ranked number 1 in the world but by the time you reach 21, you will be a member of the Green Eagles, coached by an Alien coach, neglected by you're government, ranked 37 in the world and out in the second leg of Adult FIFA World Cup. That is Nigeria. Once again Well done!

The Eaglets a flip side of the Falcons. The Falcons played poorly against Sout Korea, they are slow and not aggressive. The game of soccer is the first 10 minutes, the game starts, you start swinging. The Falcons started slow and they ended up slow. Most teams of the last World cup have improved but Nigeria and Ghana.England, Australia, Brazil and Norway have improved their games. The Falcons have made no improvement, they managed to draw with Sweden of course. Their next game is USA. remember handed them 8/zero. If the Falcons maintain the same game with the Korean, they are in for a rude awakening. They need to fasten the pace of the game.
My pick for the finals: BRAZIL AND GERMANY

The Falcons played on Tuesday against USA, they played better and performed better compared to last 8 to zero score in the last world cup. But the Falcons, despite their great performance could not score a goal, the only goal scored by the US was mistakenly scored by the Falcon's defender.
Many things were obvious and odd as to the reason why the Falcons did not make it to the next round despite their talent. They were not organized; compounded by the distractions from the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The game of soccer starts in the first 10 minutes, you begin to swing, which includes sprint, taking shots to the goal to try the keeper and the defenders, eventually you will score a goal in the first energized 10 minutes, it works all the time; they Falcons deviated from these norms to start slow and they lost. ...The Nigerian government owed them lots of money before the World cup, the government made promises they could not fulfill which led to the protest by the Falcons not to play against the US unless the government pay them the amount due; they went into training camp late as grease monkeys [betrayed by the Nigerian government].All these are bound to distract them and make them to wonder "What's in for us" to play for a country without values. If Nigeria thinks her international image is 'Boowaaah", sports is a step to make them look better.
But I commend the Falcons for the way they played against USA, they outclassed them and outplayed them. The US team lost oxygen, played with desperate spirit and began to delay the game with fake injuries and unnecessary ball handling. By the way, England peformed badly last World Cup is destined to win over the USA this Saturday. The USA should not remain number one anymore after this World Cup.
I will hope the Falcons will come back next time better than this year and the government with better image values to the rest of the world.
EAGLETS AND YARADUA : It has been reported that Yaradua promised or had given the Eaglets money and house for life because of their performance in the World Cup. While the intentions are great, but it shows how the public money is spent without consultations in Nigeria, no checks and balances. You just don't withdraw money from the public account, simply because a citizen killed a dragon that has terrorized the nation. I would think that Congress will have to approve these gifts as good gesture before Yaradua dishes them out. Where did the money come from? His private account or public money? I am waiting for the Nigerian Press to investigate.

Lady Falcons, Biafra Nigerian Boxers entered the Dragon with low self esteem and booted out of China faster than the speed of Cult 45 for under performance. Meanwhile the so called "Dream Team", Eagles have performed well against their opponents. They are now into the semi-final to face the Belgium who won against Italy with 10 man roaster.
Honestly, I don't know who Siasi is, Hausa, Yoruba and certainly not Igboman, you know; the Biafran Nigerian coach, but I am impressed with his performance, discipline, chioce of words and motivation. Nigeria does not need an Alien coach, they have found one. He has my blessings.
By the way, three African Countries made it to the quarter final, Cameroom lost against Brasil, a game that accrued 32 fouls and more than 11 yellow cards and a red flag against Cameroon. After 90 minutes game clock, extra 15 gave Brazil the lady luck to win the game. Of course Cot'ovior not Ivory Coast lost to Nigeria 2/0.

This is the Nigerians everyone missed last game played by bunch of foreigners. The only time, we are proud Nigerians..soccer. Nigerians missed three crucial scores but finished with 4 to 1.
WHO IS SIASI? Siasi, I was told by a pal is from River's state and lives in Atlanta. I am impressed. Nigeria should look no more for alian coach, give him a contract, hands off for complete power on who plays in the national team. It is about merit and skill and when tribal representation is injected the result is inferior players. Siasi is my pick for the head coaching job, he earned, even if he loose the finals. I don't give a damn, Biafra-Nigerians for Biafra Nigerian first and when they fail, they will learn.

0 GOLD 1 SILVER [Soccer] [Football] 3 BRONZE.Long Jump and 4x100 relay [women] and Taekwondo
ALSO FROM A NGERIAN EDITORIAL..
There was Team Nigeria at the Olympics, but there were other Nigerians too, all bearing names that have unmistakable links somewhere down the line with akpu, amala, iyan and edi-ka ikong, but they showed up at the Olympics wearing the colours of France, Germany, United States, Great Britain, and Portugal. To cite an instructive example, the British athlete who won the 400 metre gold medal is a certain lady known as Christine Ohuruogu. Her roots are in Nigeria. But the point in relation to Nigerian-born athletes donning foreign colours was well made by Francis Obikwelu in a moving report in the Daily Independent of Saturday, August 23, 2008 titled: "Portugal made me, not Nigeria- Obikwelu" . In the story, Obikwelu had shown clear hostility towards the country of his birth, the same country whose colours he used to wear as an athlete. Peter Edema, the correspondent noted that Obikwelu was full of venom whenever he referred to Nigeria. When a country begins to provide talents for the benefit of other countries, talents that it needs at home to realise its own objectives, it is a veritable sign that something has gone wrong with that country. It is not only athletes like Obikwelu who have fled who are angry with Nigeria, even those who are still in Nigeria are angry. It is a miracle that there wasn't a free-for-all fight in the Nigerian camp at the Olympics. Nigeria's participation in the Beijing Olympics should be a wake up call. It should provide us an opportunity to learn certain necessary lessons, and to use these to redefine our attitudes and develop the sports sector and the public space differently. Yes, we deserve to celebrate the little that we have achieved, but as we do so, let us remember some of the extra-ordinary stories from the Olympics. American swimmer, Michael Phelps, now the greatest Olympian of all times, won eight gold medals. One man, eight gold medals! In terms of weight, that is more than all the medals won by the African countries at this year's Olympics! Africa has a population of 900 million people and yet in sports, all of us put together are unable in one Olympics to come close to one American swimming like a fish. Jamaica has Usain Bolt, the thunderbolt of a sprinter, the lightning bolt, who set world records, and was so confident, he even took time out in the course of the race to showboat. And Bolt, ,with three world records at a single Olympics, was not a single revelation from Jamaica, he and his compatriots, Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay, put their stamp on the game of athletics at this year's Olympics. Since the time of the Greeks and the Romans, sports have always been about the ability of man to excel and over-reach his potentials in a God-like fashion. What is needed in Nigerian sports administration and sporting style is a revolution. And nothing illustrates our backwardness more than the maltreatment of Uchenna Emedolu who was chased out of the Nigerina camp for dropping the baton in the 4 x 100 men's semi-final relay race. According to one report, Nigerian athletic officials had called Emedolu aside before the semi-final race and advised him to make sure he did not drop the baton, because Nigeria needed to qualify. The allegation is that Emedolu is fond of dropping the baton, so much that his colleagues and Nigerian coaches had started suspecting him. He was said to have dropped the baton in May 2008, at the Senior African Athletics Championships in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. If the coaches did not trust Emedolu, why did they take him to the Olympics? As it turned out, the worst happened in the semi-finals of the 4x100 race. Emedolu dropped the baton again. A panel was immediately constituted and in its report, the panel told Emedolu that "ou have exhibited misconduct, dishonesty and an unpatriotic conduct during this season." He was then suspended from the Olympics village until further notice. Haba! So unsportsmanlike. The athletics coaches are wrong. Making Emedolu a scapegoat for Nigeria's failure in the 4 x 100 men's relay is malicious. Baton dropping was a major issue at this year's Olympics, and Nigeria was not the only country that was affected: Italy, South Africa, Poland, Britain and the United States also have stories to tell about dropped batons, in the case of teh Us both its male and female teams dropped batons. The IAAF is already taking a look at the matter, the US is considering a study; of all the affected countries it is only Nigeria that is seeking to create and hang a scapegoat. Please leave Uchenna Emedolu alone. The problem is not with him, it is with the Nigerian system. It is not only the coaches in Beijing that have attitude problems. The fans at home too. In the course of the semi-final football match between Nigeria and Belgium, which the Super Egalets won convicingly 4- 1, some football fans in Akute, a borderland community between Ogun and Lagos states made the match even more memorable by killing a PHCN official, one Mr Ademolu, the Marketing Manager in chrage of Ojodu. While the match was on, and the entire nation anxiously sat in front of television sets, PHCN officials had showed up in the particular area, threatening to disconnect power supply. The PHCN zonal office has since stated that its men were doing their job. But the affected persons felt that they had chosen a wrong time and occassion. One thing led to the other, a fracas ensued, in the end, the Marketing Manager lay dead. It is a most annoying incident. The killing should be condemned to the High Heavens. Nigerian football fans tend to be too emotional, and PHCN officials like to provoke their customers. Before this tragic incident in Akute, I had only heard about the story of a certain PHCN official who wanted to disconnect power supply during a football match. All the able-bodied men in the neighbourhood rushed out to watch the PHCN official perched on the ladder, trying to cut the wires. The irate crowd that had gathered warned him not to come down if he disconnected the light. Seeing that the boys were armed with cutlasses and cudgels, the PHCN official aborted his task and came down safely. Whatever may have been teh truth in the present instance, the killers of Mr Ademolu should be apprehended and punished accordingly. Finally, the Chinese deserve full praise for organising a colourful, absolutely impressive, almost totally hitch-free Olympics. Sports is about branding, national image and place in the world. Global respect for China has gone a notch higher, the entire nation hosted the world, and our common human heritage has been enriched. And one lesson that Nigeria can take from this is that China's success was not achived by the central government alone, but by all levels of government. To reinvent sports in Nigeria, all levels of government, federal, state and local, with the support of the private sector and civil society must wake up to the challenges of our reality.
Emedolu is likely to follow suit with other Nigerians that jumped ship to other countries because of the treatment metered to him. Although he has dropped the baton more than twice....Waypoint 1Biafra

The football season is just around the corner, pro footaball that is and I'm ready for the season. Mike Vick, the wonder boy is back, he served his time for his cruel intentions, and I wish him good luck. Brady is back, he looked good in the preseason, locked and loaded and Bret Favre is also back the third time, sorry, the second coming and I'm sick of it. The arrogant, red neck, Hee Haw from Mighty Mississippi, only thinks about himself not about the game of football. Most ESPN analyist think he loves the game, and I say bull, Bret did and not any more. The Vickings think he will take them to super Bowl and I say, dream on. Bret Favre was a great quarter back, high threshold for pain, a play maker back in the day and at thirty something, Bret is washed up with broken shoulder. He did not do well with the Jets. Yeah, he won a couple of high profile gamesagainst the Bucks and Dolphines and threw over 200 but the rest of the reason was down below. He was released, and now the Vikings think he is a savior, think again. My bait, Bret will retire again in the middle of the season on the side line. This time, he will be benched for good.
I am happy for Mike Vick, he did terrible things to my dogs, deserve to go to the Penn and I forgive him, thats what Christians do and Moslems don't. I think, he will impact the game for the Eagles. He's young and lots of energy , unlike Bret. Brady is back, looked good in the preseason but not as much as before. Any time a quarterback is seriously injured and out for a year, his sling shots are never the same. Brady will win games and injury prone. This games is full of Gladiators and hitmen, somebody will hit him and hit him good, good luck to Brady.

Nigeria, a country of over 150 million people has no competitor in the Winter Olympics, yet they talk about image. Ghana has one person representing his country for the Down Hill slope. He trained in another country.
Dreams will never be made in Nigeria and will never be when half of the country is moslem. Nigerians appeared to be comfortable with the insignificance of just great in numbers in Africa. Nigerian climate should not detect entry to the Winter Games. Jamaica have more than twice proven they belong in the Winter Games in bobsledge. Nigeria with such a vast number of people should be able to produce at least one competitor in the Winter Game. You wonder, will dream ever be made in Nigeria when moslems are half of the country.
