The ticket sale for this game is selling for $2,500.00 and the 30 seconds add is 1.5 million.
The only thing so excrutiating about the game is the entertainment from grandfathers; you know the Rollingstones not fans of American football or ever played the game will perform during the half time. Do they know that Detriot is the Motown of American music with such singers and musicians like Aretha Frankline and Stevie Wonder?. I hope they have an oxygen tank ready should anything happen to these grandfathers weggling and gyrating their body in the name of dance.

I love the Steelers all round blitz, but Coach Holmgreen and the Seahawks might surprise us all and win this one for Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen.
Against all odds, i pick Seahawks to cart home the Vincent Lombardi Trophy.

Well, after 14 years for the "Bus" and the coach, the Steelers finally won one for their fans, coach and the franchise. All the player/coach kissing in the 90's to motivate Kurdell Stewart and the invention of prototype slash/quarterback phenomenon has finally paid off. The Seahawks appeared to have lost the game after their touchdown was recalled for pushing before the ball, what I thought should have benn a touchdown; their quarterback became overly aggressive with the ball and threw INT in crucial downs and the cornerback lost their focus of defense. But don't bet on it, the Steelers are no New England Patriots, there will be no dynasty. In the meantime, they are Super Bowl champs and they earned it in the old fashioned football until 2007.

Here we go again. It is the time of the year, spring time, an invitation to March Madness, the sweet sixteen, the elite 8 and the final four. Will your former school get the invitation to the NCAA games? The madness has already started and watch out for upsets by cinderalla teams.

I would have picked Texas but Uconn stands their way of being the NCAA Champs. But you know, this is NCAA basketball and March Madness any thing can happen.

Man, what's up with that LSU upset over the number one seeded Duke? How about that Memphis-Bradley blowout? And UCLA coming from behind to beat the much hyped Adam Morrison of Gonzaga in a close 73-71 victory?
What's you pick? UCLA Vs. Memphis.
My pick: UCLA for the final four.

If you ever wonder why they call it March Madness, wonder no more, last night may have given you the reason why March Madness is any which way but loose. Last night All American Players from Duke and Gonzaga watched their dream ended in a fury. UCLA came from behind to win over Gonzaga and Duke, heavily favored against LSU lost by a wide margin. Texas cruised easily against West Virginia.
My overall pick remains Uconn. Texas is a good team, UCLA played well last night but will have to pass the young guns of Memphis to make it to the final four. I like Memphis because of their full court pressure, despite the lack of big man in the center. UCLA has nothing to prove, they made it to the Elite 8, anyhow.

Eat up your own words. The magnificent leadership of UCLA's Jordan farmar made Memphis look like no entry into the Elite Eight despite his low scoring four points, four rebounds and four assists. He delivered and that's what counts. farmar is a leader and not a talker.
Ryan Hollins, Cedric Bozeman and Afflalo were fantastic. I give all the credit to Coach Ben Howland's aggressive and defense startegy.
Ednut,
What happened to your Texas in that overtime? Exhausted?
My pick: UCLA Vs. LSU
UCLA wins and probably meets UConn for a UCLA victory in eleven years after the O'Bannon Brothers. Any questions?

One of the reasons why it is called March Madness is because victory cannot be assured or based on Big name universities. Basketball is about Guards and if you don't have it, you loose. This season is probably one of the best reasons ever. The over time, the spirit exhibited by Davids against the Goliaths makes it March Madness and any which way but loose.
Memphis was expected to win based on their statistcs during the regular reason but they handled the ball poorly and UCLA kept them away from the paint, they gambled on three points and lost. But you know LSU is another tean to watch, they have Big guards that can shoot from outside and good penetration. LSU and UCLA among the fab four will be physical but it comes down to who has the best guard. This is NCAA playoff where big teams are sent home for good, it is called upset. GMU the only Cindi team left may upset Uconn.

The final four is watered down now. Nobody will be watching those pretenders from minor TV markets and inferior schools (except for UCLA}.
George Mason a slave owner has a college named after him, why? LSU is nothing but a backwater college and Floridas gift to the world is Gatorade juice.
All and all, I see LSU and George Mason in the finals.

It is more real and exciting when second tier and unranked college teams dethrone the super nova schools like the Dukes, Uconn. The upset creates an even playing field even when it is shortlived for just one season. I like it when most prognosticators will not be able to predict the outcome of these games.

There's gonna be more cinderella stories in NCAA Basketball tournaments especially when Keith's County Ogallala University begins in 2010 on East G Street, downtown Ogallala. Afterall, Gonzaga came from nowhere some years ago and now we have Bradley, George Mason, etc.

Who among them wasn't a slave owner? Andrew Jackson, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, etc. Who? They were all slave owners and had schools named after them.
The cinderella story and overall, George Mason beats LSU in a no contest.
My name is Mota Ogallala Tekumseh, the proud native-American!

No, Let's forget that other March Madness on ESPN2. Nobody is paying attention to those borimg games. You might as well mandate us to watch WNBA games or college softball/baseball games.
I noticed that all the teams you have listed are from ACC except for LSU. Those east coast guys can play some Basketballs.

The Cinderella story ended yesterday for George Mason University, nevertheless, they made history to the max for being the lowest seeded team from no where to make it to the final four. Kudos to them.
UCLA was too much for LSU big guys, they ran out of gas and ball control proved to be out of handle. Florida pounded George Mason in the second quarter and proved they are the most viable candidate or school to win the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP. But don't count UCLA out, they have good track record in collegiate sports, particularly basketball.

Don't forget the NCAA version of Girls Gone Wild!
Duke Vs Maryland on Tuesday
The fact remains, will the Duke team remain focused despite the serious racial infractions in the school and allegation of rape by drunken white boys. The school's lacross team have been accused of raping a gogo dancer, complicated with the fact that the alleged victim is African American female characterized by the perpetrators[whites] with racial slur.

The world soccer has come and gone; we wait for another 4 years. But we will always remember the world cup 2006 with the head butt by the Frenchman against his Italian counterpart. That incident is bye bye and in the history books.
Here comes the American football. Football in America is everything just like soccer to the world is more than everything. This year some NFL teams have started with 3 and 0 and some 0 and 3. No 0 and 3 team ever made it to the Super Bowl, the closest for them is play off bert.
Below are Super Bowl contenders based on their performace so far.

The College football season ended yesterday with a bang and lots of suprises. Some colleges were expected to make it to the BCS championship title and some spoiled it for them.
UNIVERSITY OF NABRASKA after several years of absence in college football and with rival Oklahoma met yesterday for the first time but was defeated by Sooners, the BIG 8 Champion. The Sooners are bound to Tostitos Bowl.
UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE buried Connecticut and assured a title Bowl match over loss of Rutgers who lost to University of West Virginia.
WAKE FORREST : In a tight match and low score, Wake Forrest emerged against Georgia Tech. UNIVRESITY OF FLORIDA was victorious over Arkansas as SEC Champion and has began to compaign as the best team to play Ohio state.
USC : The big game and with great expectation was between USC and UCLA, civilized rivals ended with UCLA stopping USC from being number 2 in the country to play the Ohio state.
THE BIG QUESTION: Now, the question is who is the best team to play against Ohio state. Michigan remains number 2, lost the chance, USC number 3, lost the chance and Florida, number 4 is asking for a chance to play Ohio state.
In my considered opinion, Michigan remains the best number 2 team in the country and should be considered a rematch but Florida's schedule during the season was hard and played the top 10 teams in the country. But if you want a good game, it should be Michigan and if you want equality, Florida gets to play Ohio state. Stay tuned, the BCS ranking doesn't get any better and it is a bloody mess.
